Which DJI payload is best for thermal inspection?

Zenmuse H30T is the starting point when a mission needs long-range visual imaging, laser rangefinding and radiometric thermal information in one payload. Final suitability depends on target size, distance, conditions and reporting requirements.

Should I choose L3, L2 or P1 for mapping?

Choose L3 or L2 when the deliverable depends on LiDAR point clouds and terrain structure. Choose P1 when high-resolution RGB photogrammetry is the primary method. Accuracy planning, surface conditions and processing capacity can change the recommendation.

Can Zenmuse L3 be used on Matrice 350 RTK?

No. DJI currently specifies Zenmuse L3 for Matrice 400. L2 and P1 support Matrice 400 as well as compatible Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 350 RTK configurations.

Do payloads include processing software?

Software and licensing vary by payload and package. LiDAR and mapping deployments may require DJI Terra or other processing tools, plus suitable computing, storage and QA procedures. We confirm these items in the configuration.

Can I operate two payloads at the same time?

Compatible multi-payload aircraft can support several mounting arrangements, but simultaneous use depends on the payloads, mounts, total mass, port requirements and data-quality expectations. Confirm the exact combination before purchase.

Can Unmanned Canada demonstrate a payload?

Demonstration options depend on the payload, aircraft, location and mission. Send the use case and required deliverable so the team can confirm the best demonstration format.
