Important:Training does not itself grant a Transport Canada pilot certificate, airspace authorization or permission for a specific operation. Certificate, registration and operational requirements must be confirmed for the aircraft, location and mission under the rules in effect at the time.

Clarify the Path Before Booking.

The correct program depends on the participants, aircraft, operating environment and intended outcome.

Does this training issue a Transport Canada pilot certificate?

Training and exam preparation do not automatically issue a pilot certificate. Transport Canada controls pilot certification and related requirements. Any flight-review or examiner component must be expressly confirmed in the training scope.

Can training be customized for our organization?

Yes. A private program can be scoped around your team roles, aircraft, payloads, software, procedures, operating sites and mission objectives.

Do participants need prior drone experience?

Not always. Experience and prerequisites are reviewed before scheduling. Some advanced platform or application modules may require foundational knowledge or demonstrated flight competency first.

Can training be delivered at our location?

On-site delivery can be considered when the location, airspace, facilities, travel and field conditions support the proposed exercises. Remote knowledge sessions can also be combined with later practical delivery.

Can you train teams on equipment they already own?

Yes, subject to platform support and equipment condition. Include the exact aircraft, payload, controller, software and firmware context in the request.

Does training include mapping, thermal or LiDAR processing?

Application programs can include capture planning, field quality control and supported processing workflow instruction. The exact software, deliverable and depth of processing training must be defined in the scope.

How many people can attend?

Group size depends on the module and format. Knowledge sessions can support larger groups, while hands-on flight and payload training usually require smaller instructor-to-participant ratios.

What should we provide with the request?

Provide participant count, current experience, aircraft and payloads, preferred location, target dates, intended missions and the competency or operational outcome the team must achieve.
