Which Aircraft Work With DJI Dock 3?

Dock 3 is designed around the DJI Matrice 4D Series, including Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD.

What Is The Difference Between Matrice 4D And 4TD?

Matrice 4D is optimized for mapping and RGB inspection with a 20 MP 4/3-inch wide camera and mechanical shutter. Matrice 4TD adds radiometric thermal imaging, NIR illumination and stronger low-light capability.

Are Matrice 4D And Matrice 4E The Same Aircraft?

No. Matrice 4D is part of the Matrice 4D Series built around Dock 3 workflows. Matrice 4E belongs to the separate portable Matrice 4 Series.

How Quickly Does Dock 3 Charge The Aircraft?

DJI specifies approximately 27 minutes to charge a powered-off Matrice 4D Series aircraft from 15% to 95% at 25°C under its test conditions.

Can Dock 3 Be Vehicle-Mounted?

Yes. Dock 3 supports vehicle-mounted deployment. The vehicle and dock remain stationary during aircraft operations, and DJI specifies a parking slope below 3 degrees.

Is Dock 3 Weather Resistant?

DJI rates Dock 3 to IP56 and specifies a dock operating temperature range from -30°C to 50°C.
