Remote Readiness
Keep a Matrice 4D Series aircraft protected, charged and ready for scheduled or remotely dispatched operations.
Build repeatable remote drone operations with DJI Dock 3 and the purpose-built Matrice 4D Series. Configure Matrice 4D for mapping and visual inspection, or Matrice 4TD when thermal and low-light intelligence are required.
*Manufacturer figures measured under defined test conditions. Actual performance varies with environment, mission profile, configuration and firmware.
Dock 3 combines aircraft readiness, charging, environmental protection, connectivity and remote fleet management into a repeatable enterprise workflow.
Keep a Matrice 4D Series aircraft protected, charged and ready for scheduled or remotely dispatched operations.
Build around fixed infrastructure or a vehicle-mounted configuration when operating locations need to change.
Coordinate aircraft, routes, live information and mission workflows through DJI FlightHub 2.
Both aircraft are designed for Dock 3. Choose based on the information your mission actually needs to capture.
Built for recurring RGB mapping, site documentation and detailed visual inspection with a 20 MP 4/3-inch wide camera and mechanical shutter.
Adds radiometric thermal imaging, NIR illumination and stronger low-light capability for inspections, public safety, security and response missions.

Dock 3 can support permanent installations and mobile deployment concepts. The right approach depends on mission frequency, geography, power, connectivity and operational requirements.
Select the mission and deployment model to see a recommended starting configuration.
Hardware is only one layer. Connectivity, fleet software, procedures and support need to work together.
Charging, protection and remote aircraft readiness.
Select 4D for RGB or 4TD for thermal operations.
Remote dispatch, mission management and fleet information.
Training, procedures, maintenance and compliance planning.
Establish a repeatable operating location for recurring missions.
Move Dock 3 between operating areas when missions require mobility.
Approximately 27 minutes from 15% to 95% under DJI test conditions.
Designed around demanding outdoor deployment environments.
Support precise landing and repeatable mission workflows.
Manage aircraft, routes and remote mission information.
Recurring progress capture, mapping and site documentation.
Matrice 4DRecurring visual or thermal infrastructure inspection.
4D Or 4TDRemote aerial situational awareness and response support.
Matrice 4TDScheduled patrol and remote site verification.
Matrice 4TDMapping, documentation and industrial site awareness.
4D Or 4TDFaster access to visual and thermal information.
Matrice 4TDPower, connectivity, airspace, aircraft selection and operating procedures should be considered before a Dock 3 system is deployed.
Important: Canadian operating requirements vary by aircraft, airspace, mission, location and proximity to people. Operators remain responsible for confirming current Transport Canada requirements and applicable approvals.
Connect the hardware, software and operating workflow into a practical enterprise system.
Define the use case, site and required operational outcome.
Match Dock 3, aircraft, connectivity and software.
Prepare operators and stakeholders for the workflow.
Maintain and expand the system after deployment.
Dock 3 is designed around the DJI Matrice 4D Series, including Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD.
Matrice 4D is optimized for mapping and RGB inspection with a 20 MP 4/3-inch wide camera and mechanical shutter. Matrice 4TD adds radiometric thermal imaging, NIR illumination and stronger low-light capability.
No. Matrice 4D is part of the Matrice 4D Series built around Dock 3 workflows. Matrice 4E belongs to the separate portable Matrice 4 Series.
DJI specifies approximately 27 minutes to charge a powered-off Matrice 4D Series aircraft from 15% to 95% at 25°C under its test conditions.
Yes. Dock 3 supports vehicle-mounted deployment. The vehicle and dock remain stationary during aircraft operations, and DJI specifies a parking slope below 3 degrees.
DJI rates Dock 3 to IP56 and specifies a dock operating temperature range from -30°C to 50°C.
Yes. Unmanned Canada can assist with mission planning, aircraft selection, connectivity, software, training and enterprise deployment support.
Share the site, operating environment, mission frequency and required data. We will help define the right Dock 3 package.
Product capabilities, compatibility, firmware, availability and regulatory requirements may change. Confirm the current Canadian configuration before deployment.
