Confirm registration, pilot credentials, aircraft characteristics, operating category, airspace and whether an SFOC-RPAS or other approval is required.

Product Label & Use Pattern

Use only a pest control product whose label permits aerial application, and follow the labelled rate, volume, droplet, buffer and other aerial directions.

Applicator Requirements

Check provincial or territorial licensing, certification, notification, insurance, environmental and recordkeeping requirements for the intended use.

Field Procedures

Document weather limits, calibration, PPE, mixing and loading, exclusion zones, cleaning, maintenance, emergency actions and crew roles.

Current Canadian policy: Health Canada permits RPAS application of products registered for conventional aerial application when all applicable label directions and policy conditions are followed. If a label prohibits aerial application or does not include it, RPAS application is not permitted. Always verify the current label and jurisdictional requirements before use.

Which AGRAS models are currently sold by Unmanned Canada?

The current AGRAS collection lists the T100 Intelligent Airframe and the T40 V3 + 65W Charger Combo. T70P and T25P are current-generation DJI platforms, but availability, configuration and Canadian lead time should be confirmed before they are presented as orderable products.

Can AGRAS drones apply pesticides in Canada?

Potentially, but the product and use must qualify. Health Canada’s June 2026 policy permits RPAS use for products registered for conventional aerial application when the operator follows the label and all policy conditions. Products without aerial application directions—or labels that prohibit aerial application—cannot be applied by RPAS.

How should we choose between T40 and T100?

Compare the routine application rate, field size, refill time, transport vehicle, crew, battery rotation, field power and desired daily throughput. T100 offers substantially greater published capacity; T40 remains a proven listed combo for established mixed spraying and spreading workflows.

Does the aircraft price include a complete operating system?

Not necessarily. AGRAS listings can represent an airframe or a specific combo. Confirm the spray or spread system, batteries, charger or generator, controller, positioning accessories, spares, training and support included in the quoted configuration.

What information is needed for an AGRAS consultation?

Bring the crop or application, material type, product label, target rate, typical block size, terrain, obstacles, water and refill access, transport method, daily acreage target, province or territory and preferred deployment timing.

Unmanned Canada can help coordinate product demonstrations, configuration planning, training and deployment support. The scope should be matched to the aircraft, crew experience and intended application workflow.
