Remote ID is the most significant change coming to Canadian drone regulation since the Advanced RPAS certification framework was introduced in 2019. What is Remote ID?

What It Broadcasts

A Remote ID-compliant drone broadcasts its registration number, real-time GPS position and altitude, velocity, takeoff location, and a timestamp — continuously during flight.
